You then need to decide where you want to place your flaps on the car and cover it with those strips so that you have a nice, even surface to stitch the fabric onto. You’ll then need to cut two flaps out of the fabric, fold them in half and iron them to make them nice and flat. After that, you pin each flap into place so that they align with the other flaps and the seams. Once everything is pinned, you’re ready to sew it together! First, sew one side together and then sew the other side so that you get a neat seam all the way around the strip.
